In alignment with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's proclamation of 2023 as the 'Year of Sustainability,' our journey with the Today for Tomorrow Mangrove Project becomes a testament to our dedication to sustainability. It's a pledge to safeguard our natural heritage and contribute to a more resilient ecosystem.

An initiative sparked by the Organising Committee of the 51st National Day Celebrations, this project is a symphony of dedication aimed at fulfilling the UAE's pledge made at COP27—to plant 100 million mangroves by 2030. This endeavor seeks to breathe life into his dream of restoring and enhancing mangrove forests along the UAE's coasts

Mangroves, the unsung heroes of our coastal ecosystem, cover over 150 square kilometers of the UAE coast, acting as the "green lung" of the land. These remarkable trees, with their unique ability to sequester carbon and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, emerge not just as guardians of the coast but as crucial allies in the battle against climate change. Beyond their environmental contributions, mangroves are a beacon of life, providing sustenance to diverse species and serving as vital habitats for wildlife.

We’re extremely proud of our team who volunteered at Al Zorah Natural Reserve in Ajman, rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty, knowing that each tree planted is a promise, a commitment to a future where nature and humanity thrive together. So here's to our team—the unsung heroes who traded a day's comfort for a lifetime of impact. Together, let's nurture our environment, planting the seeds of change for a tomorrow that is, undeniably, brighter and more sustainable.
